As a July 4th Holiday incentive, I'm offering the DVD for sale once again and Giving a SPECIAL CTZCC CLUB Discount of only 17.76 for the DVD SHIPPED to you! The film was shown only twice at the ZCON 2013, and ZCCR Motorfest 2014 events while waiting for final production. A film by Gary D. Levinson, created during the 1971 Lime Rock Park racing season, captures all of the excitement from this historic period in SCCA racing history, and features the racing endeavors of Bob Sharp Racing team and undoubtedly the most famous of all the Datsun Z cars, HLS30-00006. Not only is the film considered today, as it was 40 years ago, an art film of it’s time, but is also now a historic look into the early days of Datsun Racing and the preparation needed to take these cars to championship victories! The film also Features Narration by Bob Sharp as he talks about the process of making the Datsun 240Z the ultimate C Production race car. If anyone would like a copy Please feel free to email me at: datsundave240z@gmail.com for payment options and shipping Thank you

This is a GREAT video for any Z lover. It shows how our member Bob Sharp took a new, unheard-of 6cylinder C-Production 2.4L Japanese sports coupe and beat the then-dominant A-Production and B-Production 427 Cobras, Corvettes, Novas, Camaros, and Mustangs, while mastering the C-Production class.

This actual car (HLS30-0006) belongs to our member "Doc" Allan Robbins in Rochester NY and until recently was raced annually in Vintage SCCA events. Bob Sharp put the Datsun 240Z on the American map with this actual car, and our own Dave Levinson's dad filmed the whole process back in the day. Dave remembers standing on the sidelines at Lime Rock Park as a kid, watching his dad speeding around the track atop a station wagon holding a heavy movie camera to his eye, filming the cars racing all around him. The opening 60 seconds of the video alone are worth this low price. It shows Bob speed past the entire field into the Big Bend (first turn) at LRP, passing the big-block Cobras, Mustangs, and Corvettes on the outside. He continues all the way to the checkered flag for the overall win, startling everybody.

Glad to zee this great video made available again, and at such a great price! This would be the perfect Father's Day or birthday gift for any Z lover. Even if he doesn't own a 240Z, he deserves to see for himZelf how the Z family became famous 48 years ago. Al you new-joins should have this video in your collection.

Several people have asked how to find a copy of this video recently; here you are!
