My IP final is looking to be a piece of cake. I'll be studying Tuesday and Wednesday beforehand, so we'll see how it goes. I might show up for this one!

Hi Mike,
I'll be going right past Bridgeport. If you don't already have a ride, e-mail me your address and you can ride shotgun. But I usually try to get to the meetings early so let me know if that would be a problem.

Ross

I have visited with Scott Orsini several times this week, and the Executive crew is anxious to host us again. Scott plans to feed us and let us use his conference room. I also asked him to give us an update on how Japan's earthquake/sunami/nuke disaster are affecting car and parts availability.

Altho it doesn't seem possible, Bryan Little has spent the winter improving his 1970 240Z road rocket! He has single-handedly added triple Webers and converted the rear brakes to discs. Because most of us fantasiZe about doing this to our Zs, Bryan took careful notes and photos of his progress. He will present a few pointers for those of us who still hope to make these improvements to our own Zs.

I am also happy to announce the rough roadway in front of Executive Nissan is being paved for you! :D Crews are in the finishing steps of completing the project and might (might) be done just in time for our meeting. If not, watch for raised manhole covers along the 1-mile of Universal Drive btwn I-91 and the Executive dealership.

Weather is forecast to be EXCELLENT! (Thanks again, Ross! ) Executive has reserved parking along the premier front row of their property, as they did last time. Our Zs will be visible from the roadway and usually serve to bring in some admirers to zee them. As usual, our CTZCC sign will be posted at the roadside, to show who we are.

Also as usual, we'll reserve a parking space for Colin Foote.

We're looking fwd to zeeing all our friends again, and hoping to also meet some of the many new members who have joined us recently! Dress is casual ~ we want you to relax and have fun!

Zee y'all there!

Frank

Thanks to each of our outstanding slate of officers, who once again
offered us a wonderful opportunity to get together with our wide
variety of Z Cars (were there any two alike?). While I'm sure that
there are others in the Club who would be capable of taking on some
role, it is difficult to conceive that the leadership we already have in
place could be improved upon.

And thanks also to the management and staff of Executive Nissan,
who once again were as cordial a group of hosts as could be imagined.
I hope that each of our members will consider Executive when con-
templating a purchase, whether of parts or of a complete vehicle.

I feel sorry, in a sense, for those Nissan dealers who, for whatever
reason, choose not to sponsor one of our meetings or events. For
some reason they fail to recognize the P.R. value that could be
realized for such a small investment.

Hey Mike, thanks for looking out.

Funny how the ECU had a problem again, haha. I think it is just tired, 20 years old.

I opened it up and reset it and it got us on the way, but it is time to replace it.

Follows what I said at the first. These car run great but 20 years old is 20 years old and anything original is subject to failure, I KNOW YOU can relate Mike owning an early model Z

Oh yeah I know all about that. Although with my car I'm really surprised how well done of the old parts are still holding up. Nissan makes some really good quality parts. It was interesting seeing that happen last night. Made me realize no matter how much newer even Z32's have gremlins. Glad you were able to get it going. Yeah time to upgrade or at least replace that old ecu. Is there room in the 300zx for a small tool kit? I know us S30 guys can't leave home without at least a 1/4 ratchet and 3 or 4 important sockets. It's crazy but you look at the Z32's and forget how old even they are now. Still think you have one of the nicest engine bays I have ever seen.
