I have most of the parts, the red Z is planned to go to the shop in Jan, I already had the color picked out and on hand, the motor will be an RB25DET, and I was planning on dumping a lot of money into the build. Everything from taking the body down to the bare shell, sandblasting it, welding up the rust, adding a $2500 cage, get the motor in and running, and tuned, and upgrading literally everything that I haven't already upgraded. Body work, and then paint, and then it will be the beast that I've been planning for a few years.

Well, today I was just browsing the net like everyday, and I stumbled on a car that will look just exactly like I was planning...even down to the color and shade of paint. Except this car has received the best parts, work, and has just the perfect styling that I can only hope my car will look like.

Just looking at it...I'm stoked.

I think I even like the looks of the exhaust... 8)

WOW. WOWWWW!

That thing is absolutely AWESOME. From every angle, every part of this says, "STRICTLY BUSINESS". What a spectacular machine!

What's he done with the hood? Has he made it open backwards, or does it lift off?

All my Kanji is gone ~ basically what's he saying? (I see him mention 12,600 rpm ~ he must be discussing the blower motor fan speed!)

I'm not sure CT would let you get away with driving this on their streets. The windows are plexi and slide open, rather than roll down. The ground clearance is intended for flat, smooth racetracks. Directionals probably don't work on his ~ they must on yours. Are you sure K would actually ride in this thing?

Also, the DET is a flow-thru head, with carbs on one side and exhaust on the other, Ney? They never intended that engine to come over here, so their throttle linkage is all built for RHD cars. You would have to rig something up like a cable or something.

Frank

(PS: Wowww!)

AJ ~ in reference to the S30 pictures:

I wonder why he wouldn't put aero lenses over his headlamps, after all that work, and
With the radiator cross bracing gone and no shock tower braces, I wonder how much the body flexes under stress?
