When surfing the net one evening, I came across a very interesting find - a link to our old club, The Bob Sharp Z Car Club! I was somewhat perplexed because I had not been able to find that link for many years and assumed that the site was deleted, unavailable or otherwise "gone" due to us no longer maintaining and paying for it. We had a lot of fun back then and surfing the old site and pictures of events brought back some fond old memories. So check it out at:

http://www.mys15.org/bobsharp/index.htm

Can anyone explain why this site is still out there after all these years? I'm sure no one is still knowingly paying to host it. Also: what does the wording in the actual link tell you? The original link when the club was functioning was www.bobsharpzcarclub.org

Because our old web master Chris, who was in Russia last I heard from him, is still around still into Nissans, and is hosting the remnants on his other site. If you goto the root, http://www.mys15.org/ you'll see Chris and his current Nissan, an s15 Silvia.

I enjoyed that. Nice site, looks like fun. Surprised to see some of our current members showing their cars back in the day. Good links, too, and it still asks me to sign up. Can't figure why it's still working, unless the site was paid for by a corporate credit card and nobody ever stopped it?
Curiouser and curiouser.

It still works because Chris is still hosting it. A web page is just folders on a computer. Chris just dumped the old site into a sub-folder of his current site, so it's still available.
