This weekend I cleaned the 240 up after the last 6 hour round trip, took care of some small annoyances and full tank of gas, I'm ready.

Just finished a test drive with a 3rd spring on the Carbs and that did the trick. No more taping the gas to get idle down. So I am still on for the show. I can bring fuel pumps this time, but just to let you know only one seems to work.

We met Chris Osborne at the recent LRP Vintage Festival in the Artists row. She showcased a fantastic painting of Paul Newman with a Z at LRP. While this painting has sold, she has prints available and is open to other auto related commisions. Please see the picture attachment and info below....

At LRP Vintage we also met another artist, David@sportscarart.com, who uses a unique metalized technique. The 2 attachments are from photos he allowed us to take with the intent of showcasing to our club....he can be reached at 802.558.9769

Karl ( and others),

If needed, the rain date is the following Wednesday, October 12th as indicated in the original meeting announcement. Please check this website topic on Tuesday October 4 for updates.

For now the forecast looks good, but hurricane Ian has taken a new direction and is unpredictable at this point. Let's keep our fingers crossed. If it washes us out for the 5th, that just gives us time to muster more members for the 12th.
This is an important meeting and we should make every arrangement to give as many members as possible the chance to attend.

:( Hey PreZ, it's not looking too good at this point. They're talking about 71% probability of rain, storm swell advisories and high winds.

On the other hand, that would get our carZ washed and blow-dried for free
