I will start a thread here for next September's ZCON.

It is scheduled for 14Sep-19Sep 2020 at Nissan North America's headquarters in Franklin (Nashville) TN. We can post updated information here as the date gets closer. Several of our Clubbies are already committed to attend. Our member Clive 'Evil Z' Bogle (NYZCC) is on the staff, as are Mad Mike Taylor and John Jeffries.

I guess they learned a lesson by scheduling it during July last time! This year it will be wonderfully cooler in September.

Our son and his wife live outside of Franklin TN. This might be doable. 8)

You would avoid the hotel crush. Right now there seems to be a problem; the ZCCA is advertiZing a reserved block of rooms at $133/night, but the two 4-star hotels they choZe are denying that and wanting $277/night. They say the price cut only applies to Mon & Sat nights. ZCCA staff have been appriZed of this and are expected to have it corrected.

I know this is 9 months away, but who else might be interested in cruising down to TN from here? We have Thor planning to come from Germany and Rick Morgan hoping to drive there too. I will drive my Z and finally meet our Chicago member (my 10-year pen pal) Tengu and his wife along the way in his Z. It would be cool if we could join up with the gang from NYZCC and ZCCR for company also.

Paul and Big Al usually attend so they might come along? Phil, John, Karl, Gary T and anybody else who wants the thrill of driving their Z 1,000 miles down and another 1,000 miles back thru the fall foliage in the Smokeys and zeeing more than 2,000 Z cars at Nissan North America headquarters. I intend to hit the Tail of the Dragon (Deals Gap) both ways, my first time in a Z. Last two times I was in a million-pound Mustang convertible and it rained so hard everybody was stopped in the road on the way up, and an 18-wheeler logging truck was right on my bumper all the way down. :x

Anyway, it would be good to get some idea of how many Zs we might gather together from this area. We have 9 months to prep the cars; hey, even the newguy Chris might have his 1971 Shiro car ready by then!

Ever since I saw Gary T's pics on the "tail" I've added it to my bucket list. I am thinking about going to Z-CON (never been) next September if all the stars are aligned. Let's keep in touch on this one.

ZCon 23, held where this one will be held in Franklin TN
Our member Vince Corry shows off last:

It was right after the terrible floods, and the temperature was well above 100*F. That shouldn't happen next year; we are waiting until September for the convention.

Already planned to drive the Z and skipping track day and enjoying the ride down. I would like to see if the restaurant at the end of tail of the dragon hung our club shirt up from the first show we had.

I would be up for two 500-mile days, with brief stops along the way.

I have reservations at one of the spill-over hotels ($125/night) and we are arranging a Z for Thor to drive to TN and back here for the trip.

Yea Frank, I think it would be more enjoyable. I'm all for one night on the road and tail of the Dragon. Might even be in NY already to shave off 6 hours of travel on the first day.

It would be great to have you with us, Paul. We have about 7-8 months to make firm plans.

Has everyone seen the convention schedule?
