Tornados are reported in Waterbury, headed for Meriden/Wallingford by 5:30pm. Expected to continue South East to the coast.

Hide your Zs.

The wife and I just so happen to be in Southbury with the Z for a late lunch out on the road. We got home just before the storm hit there and here. Lot's of wind and hail here so I'm glad we tucked the Z back in her reserved spot in the garage.

My son stopped in for coffee this morning and showed me a picture he got from his friend and close neighbor of ours. The picture was taken through his house front doorbell security camera. It clearly shows a TORNADO in the vacinity of the Ansonia/Woodbridge line.

A friend of ours was enroute to see us when all traffic stopped on I-91, freezing her in a sea of cars bumper to bumper, door to door. She saw a funnel walk right across the highway ahead of her. Cars just sat there and took it. She was screaming on the phone to us. When it got closest, she couldn't see cars anywhere around her in the dense rain. No pictures.
