Hi all,

I got a message from Ben Rosen yesterday that he was at a car show with "Howard" and that after Howard left, he won first place in his class! Howard drives a low mileage original Z31. I know there are Howards in our database and on this forum. So if you know which Howard owns this car, please tell him to get in touch with the show organizers to get his first place trophy!!!

Well done Howard!!

Hope all is well with everyone.

Ross

Oops! When my class was announced at the awards ceremony I couldn't hear who won 1st place, so I ask the person next to me and he said a Volvo, so I decided to head home shortly afterward. Duh. Thanks for the heads-up. I'll try to contact the organizers.

Thank you Ross and thank you Ben.

Howie's car wins so many trophies, he's actually stopped accepting them? I know he was considering an addition onto the side of his house for a gymnasium-siZe trophy room. Maybe he won't accept any more awards until he has room enough to store them?

Imponderable question:

How many trophies do the members of the CTZCC have between them?

I have about a dozen, which I take no credit for. My car gets all the credit!

Good question. And how many members actually take their cars to be judged at shows? Just driving them and enjoying the time behind the wheel, putting a smile on faces (driver's and on-lookers alike) is the biggest reward to owning a Z. Trophy's are just materialistic forms of acknowledgement given to the guardians of Z beautiful rolling pieces of art. :D :D 8)

I should have one for the highest-asking-price of any 240Z.

Car Show organiZer was nice enough to hold my Z's winning trophy until last weeks gathering. 8) It was a good thing that the T-tops were off (Big head and Big trophy. Right Frank?) :D

Thanks again Ben for the heads-up. And thanks Ross for passing along the message. It was appreciated.
