I'm looking at the map and see that Phil, Al and Karl live within 50 road miles of each other up in their neck of the woods. Might it be easier for them to just head West togeher and meet us at RDZ's? Or Lime Rock? Long day for them to come 80 miles south to go 100 miles north and back again. Just a thought.

ALSO: just learned that RDZ will not be open on Saturdays, so we can muster and stretch elsewhere.

Haha! If you make the trip down, I'll buy you TWO donuts, and wait while you eat them.
See about bringing Al and Phil with you if you come this way?

The fair Ms Rene and lil red (the 2 loves of my life) are definitely in on this one. Caddyshack might be a good meet point for us.
Do we get to rake leaves at the Old North Church again?
And, of course, we're going to park at the Police Officer Station, just like the last time...

Al

That's great Al!

I didn't know about your last trip up there. Would have loved to join in as I had fond memories of that area of MA from my old college days. I recently watched the movie "Alice's Restaurant" which I haven't seen since 1969 so I could relive the memories for this trip.

Makes sense for you to meet us at the shack. It is on RT 7, just south of the MA state line in North Canaan CT. We are shooting for an ETA there of around 11:30AM, give or take. It will depend on how much coffee and donuts we have to buy for Karl as a reward for him taking the long trip down from Somers all the way to Derby.

Right Karl ~ I have to prep mine the day before, too. Check all the tire pressures (including the spare), oil, fuel, coolant, and 10wt sewingmachine oil in the carbs. Maybe even wash off the windscreen.
Or not.

I'm jealous, I can't make this trip. My wife and I have a lot of work that has to be done this weekend. I thought maybe I could squeeze part of the run in if I only joined in for 50 or so miles.... But it's still over 400 miles additionally up and back. Just not going to work...on a different day it might have.
Enjoy and please post pictures!

I will zee you at Ross's however.

Good Morning! :D What a wonderful day to be a Z!
Weather is forecast to be near-perfect everywhere we are headed all day today, with low humidity and highs near 80*F. This should be an excellent excursion for everyone. I'm on my way to HvnlyDnts in about an hour, and looking fwd to meeting up with the rest of us at the Caddy Shack.

Spoke with Surfer D and he wants to meet us for coffee and to wish us bon voyage.

Z you guys soon.

Bee-you-tiful run thru the Berkshires today to have lunch at the world famous Alice's Restaurant in Stockbridge Ma. Did'nt know til we got there that the place has closed down. Couldn't quite hook up w/ Frank, John et al either. Still a nice ride tho...
