It was just brought to my attention by Alan Dempsey and Gary Tylinski that our Z brother, Bill Moreau passed away yesterday.

Bill was a tremendous friend and supporter of our club. He was present at many of our meetings and was a really kind, wonderful and gracious person.

Please keep Bill's fiance Carol, his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

Obviously this is a huge loss for the Z Car Club of New England which Bill was a very active member of. Let's show our solidarity with them as they mourn this devastating loss.

Sincerely, Ross

DANG. Hard to accept. I have a whole library of pictures of our member Bill active at either ZCon or with our CTZCC events. I rather enjoyed seeing him stuck behind the tables at the 2013 ZCon in Nashua NH because it was the only time I ever saw him stand in one place. He acted like a dog on a leash. Bill was always moving, always smiling, always had something interesting to share. He drove down here from Mass after work on the second Wednesday of each month to attend our meetings. He really enjoyed us and we, him.

I will always remember he was the first to offer us a hand this year when our events calendar went blank. He was willing to change the ZCCNE calendar to include us. He spearheaded the reopening of Thompson Motor Speedway and got some of us onto the freshly-repaved circuit. Bill was a champion for all causes "Z".

Z ya, Bill. You'll certainly be missed. Thanks for the miles.
It would be very appropriate to attend these services driving our Zs. Bill would have appreciated that.

I keep coming back to the reality that Bill Moreau has left us. It is really hard to fathom. He always seemed so healthy and vigorous. He was the kind of guy that you wanted to hug, not shake hands with.

What a terrible loss for the Z community and all others that new and loved him.

So true...Bill was such a genuinely kind and friendly guy...even when his Z got severely damaged in an accident a few years back, he took it in stride without, to my amazement, any frustration or anger. Such a classy yet down-to-earth man...I miss him already...

Yea this hit hard when I first heard, shocking very sad. Like all who know him, I too will remember this humble man, always with a smile, even in a wreck, a man who can teach you a thing or two besides just on the track. He just Loved his Z's, loved people, and loved life itself. Always missed, Always Remembered my Z Friend Bill

Anybody know for sure whether our Bill Moreau and our Marc Moreau were related?

I'm going to try to attend the wake on Monday around 4:30PM. I plan to drive my Z up to Springfield in memory of Bill's fondness of our Z's and our club members. I plan to depart Ansonia CT around 3PM.

Anyone else want to tag along or jump in the passenger seat with me?

Bill's passing was a shock none of us could have expected. He certainly was one of the nice guys who attended most of the scheduled CTZCC events. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I too plan to attend Bill's wake on Monday, leaving South Meriden at 3:00pm. Calling hours are 4-7pm.

Meets will not be the same without Bill Cruising in with his 280Z or 300ZX. Will miss his freindship and enthusiasm. My thoughts to all of you that knew him better then me and his family, we lost a great guy.

I will try to cruise up to Springfield on Monday PM.

I'm free Monday night, altho I don't favor having to drive the Z thru Springfield rush hour traffic. I'll probably go earlier and just wait for everyone.
