It seems Black Dragon Auto will be closing at the end of the year. As a result theyve dropped the prices on quite a few items in order to clear inventory.

Front and Rear 240 Chrome bumpers for $190 each. Wish I was a year or two into my ownership and knew if I wanted new/super clean ones. Tempted to buy them just because it can't ever be a losing investment even if I don't end up using them.

Too bad ~ if they had lowered their prices a few years ago, they wouldn't be going out of business now. BD always sold the same Z-stuff as others, but 20% (or more) higher cost than anybody else.

Good Z stuff ~ terribly overpriced. They were Pennywise and Pound foolish. I don't know anyone who shopped there except out of desperation. I would expect MSA to absorb however much of Dragon's inventory doesn't get sold off. If they can sell their 240 taillight pairs for $300 now, they could have done so all along. Anytime someone drops over $200 on an item, it was overcharged to begin with.

How BD really hurt us was that anybody selling spare Z parts over the past 8yrs could point to BD to justify jacking their prices up because of what Dragon was charging for the same item.

Goodbye Black Dragon, I will dance on your grave.

Frank T

I got the email and it appears a lot of stuff is sold out.
I ordered a bunch of stuff that I didn't know I needed
Anyway I agree with Frank, their prices were always higher but they did have good stuff.
Too bad a supplier is gone.

Frank, you (unfortunately) hit the nail on the head...what a shame.
