We are monitoring the forecast daily. Many times I've seen a Sunday forecast move to Saturday as the week progresses. So let's see what Thursday and Friday reveal. We will probably make the call Friday afternoon. So please check back here for a final confirmation.

And say a little prayer since a lot of people have already reserved this date.

News say rain all day Saturday. Who going the talk to Mother Nature

Frank: I had to weigh in on this...
You and I are of but a few in CTZCC who know what you are talking about! Most could not imagine a boy and a dog living in a shoe.

Suggest all planning to attend the annual outing in Darien keep their fingers crossed, put the Blessed Mother on the window sill facing out, or hang the rosary beads on the clothesline. Can't hurt and will surely increase the odds of good or decent weather on Saturday.

Hi guys,

Since the weather for Sunday is forecast to be sunny and around 60, we'll probably move the gathering to that date instead of the original rain date of next Saturday.

I will post an update here by 10:00am tomorrow morning, so please check back. Our Prez Jim will also send an e-mail blast as soon as we have made the decision.

I blocked both Saturdays just in case. We have a family commitment made yesterday for this Sunday.
My vote is to keep things as they were originally scheduled.
The caravan can still organize at the BJ's parking lot at parkway exit66 in Wallingford with stops at the e parkway rest stops. Wish I could join in but our grandkids will be disappointed if we back out of Sunday's day trip. Oh well!

Let's all remember that this annual event is only possible because Ross and his family are graciously willing to open their home and neighborhood to the club. In addition to the weather, Ross must also consider his family commitments and responsibilities in scheduling when this event can be held.
