Just so we understand ~ your Zenki Z-31 is stock, right? It has unmodified fuel injection?

There was a corporation-wide recall of those cars in the 1990s, I think, which replaced the entire fuel injection system AND modified the distributor, free.
Did your car get that yet?

I can spew out a bunch of possibilities, but it always comes down to....I fix it if it's in front of me. Just saying, but I take it you might be far away. First thing, when it acts up, make sure you have good spark. Those Dizzy's have a notion to fail a lot. Then the Air flow meters have been know to act up and fail, and of course check the fuel system for pressure. Check the pressure regulator. Or something computer controlled is acting up. ECM, corroded terminal wire, other sensors like TPS, CTS, so a lot to check, but think, spark, fuel, air. Hope this helps. Oh, do the wire wiggle test....if you wiggle a certain connection and it suddenly changes to running good, you found bad terminal. Good lucky
