You are correct Filipe, I recently offered Frank $1,000,020 for his Z and was turned down...

Hi Filipe,

5,000 € would be too much for that car.

BTW: the best thing to finish the year is a ride in your Z.
Could not resist :D

I see. Clever shots there, Thor.

Is the white strip at the bottom with "240z" stock or is that a tasteful mod on yours? I've seen it here and there, so I'm curious.

These stripes were offered by Datsun/Nissan dealers in the early 70s as OEM supplies. There is a guy who has these stripes in stock: Jerry Purcell. Tell me if you need a contact.

Why is it possible to drive without snow in Germany on the last day of the year? I'm very jealous. We are buried in snow here, with tons of roadsalt sprayed everywhere, waiting to eat our Zs if we bring them out.

I removed my cervical collar, went to the garage. Cut the hard times. Dreamlike weather, Z driving. The lady starts immediately. My destination: Munich, 150 mls south. On the autobahn, crank down the window, 95 mls, 100 mls, not more, low traffic. Antenna up, radio on, the 40 year old device still works, they play Gustav Mahlers 1st symphony, wonderful, the mono speaker rear left crackles pitfully, why do I love this sound even when they play Mahler? People are waving to me, thumb up, thanks! Short appointment in Munich than back again, this time no autobahn. Country roads, pictureque scenery. Radio crackles again, I push on the reading lamp, operates. Why do I find this so important? The speedometer does not shake, great, plastic is creaking somewhere in the trunk, whatever. Clock shows the exact time. What a sprightly lady! While driving I think about: what do I have to fix here. Nothing what would be urgent. Makes me proud to drive that car. Four hours later back at home. Wonderful day. Another day with my Z.

Hi Thor:
Really glad to hear that you are OK and recovering. Also glad to hear that you are enjoying that 240Z. Well we both missed ZCON this year.. Somehow I injured my Left Knee.. I really don't know what happened. One day it was fine, the next day it was slightly painful, the following day I couldn't walk on it.

If it isn't one thing - it's another.

We all 'get it' in slightly different ways. Delightful read.
Glad you're doing well.

Folks, what do you think about a non-scheduled meeting on April 3rd or 4th? I will be in CT at this time. Would be a pleasure!
