here's some pix of the trial fit of the new 355 sbc with headers. Won't be able to tell for sure where all the fitment corrections will be required until we get it up on lift and install tranny so we can see exactly how engine sits. So far it's evident we'll need to move the wireing harness on pass. side due to proximity to header. On driv. side had to relieve the front motor mount a bit for header and will have to dimple the front header tube to clear the steering rack shaft. Might have an issue near the slave cylinder also. Once these mods. are made hopefully the only issue will be fabbing new connections to the y tube / main exhaust run.
All this could have been avoided if old cast headers were used, but, I just hated the look. I suppose I could have wrapped .......
