I grew up around race cars in the 60's as my oldest brother raced at Limerock, Bridgehampton, The Glen etc. There were Coopers, Elvas, Stangellini, Lotus, March and finally show room stock with the Pinto, Vega and Rabbit. We bought cars from the insurance auctions on the Berlin Turnpike by closed bid and refurbished them. As time passed one passion remained; the 280 Z. I collected cars and parts until the mid 80's when a neighbor had the Town issue a stop collection notice. I am down to (2) '77's which were bought at the birth of my kids, and stored since. 17 years later, I am going to get them back on the road. Meanwhile,I have a collection parts from body panels, gauges, transmissions etc that have been going off on eBay. If there is anything you need please contact me as I would hate for these parts to go to Landfill.

A 280Z Proportioning valve included in that pile?

Call Vinny Bedini, 860-355-1829.

Yessir. It also contains the brake switch.

Only the ones for the 260 or 280 are what's needed now. Desperate need.

Vinny is our Club's master Z mechanic and he's trying to get one of our member's 280s back on the road, without waiting for a mail order from MSA or other sources.

Condition doesn't much matter ~ Vinny can clean it up.

Frank

You'll find a lot of members in here who know a lot about your Zs, and we're always hoping you'll be free with information and tips you learn as you work on them.

Welcome Woodse. I myself have alot of 280 parts myself, so if you need anything just let me know. What is the bore on that Master? An wxtra booster would come in handy as well. I have a 72 converted to a 280 booster, with the 280zx 15/16" master.

Vinny needs one desperately, for a member's car. Can you bring one to the monthly meeting Wednesday night? You can probably name your price Laughing
