Anybody have an extra set of stainless steel lines (not brake lines) for a 72 car? _________________ 1972 Datsun 240z #88178 |

I thought you were looking for brake lines? There are only fuel lines and hydraulic (brake & clutch) lines on the '72, unless you have A/C and/or oil cooler, then there are those others.
I undrstd you needed brake lines.......? |

Thanks for checking in Frank. Nope the Vin-meister has the SS brake lines. I need the SS fuel lines and hydraulic lines. MSA and other people sell the SS brake lines, that would be an easy one to fix. _________________ 1972 Datsun 240z #88178 |

Marc,
Here is a link that supplies your SS fuel and hydraulic lines. John Taddonio (ZCCR) used this company for the lines on his beautiful '70 car. I considered this for my car but stepped back due to cost, about $600 or so. I ended up refinishing my original lines.
Looking good! Hope this helps.
Jim

Thanks Jim. I called ClassicTube earlier today. And unfortunately even with their astronomical prices they still can't deliver until 3 weeks from now....which is too late. _________________ 1972 Datsun 240z #88178 |

Here are some pics of the current progress:
I think that I am just going to paint the car black. I saw a Camry with the color I selected and the freakin' thing was glowing purple....
Later,

Dark metallic blue is one of the few colors I enjoy seeing on an S30 besides orange. Keep the car blue.
For my enjoyment.... _________________

Haha Phrog... I am pretty sure that the purple Camry I saw was a bad respray b/c I have seen a lot of blue priuses that didn't glow purple in direct sunlight...
I just have to get with a great painter. I may just have to respray the bay black.
LOL I have no idea. I am pretty sure that most painters can get black right... _________________ 1972 Datsun 240z #88178 |
