Although the Member Ride of the Month has been chosen at random for the last 16 months, we felt it a fitting tribute to Colin to select his 240Z as this month's Member Ride.

Please see more photos of Colin's Z's, by visiting his Member Ride album HERE.

What an excellent idea. I wholeheartedly agree.

Colin would be very proud.

This car is the result of a lot of loving work done by Colin Foote and his dad Robin together, over many many moons. I tried several times to get out to RI to zee it while it was being built. I had to wait until the car came to CT for Vinny Bedini's engine magic before I actually saw it. It was even more spectacular up close than it is in photos.

This car now probably represents a lot more to Robin than it did even a few months ago, understandably. I think it's pretty safe to bet that the car will continue to receive the very finest care and preservation for many generations to come. I'm sure it will hold a lifetime of memories for the entire family.

Congratulations, Robin and Colin Foote, for building the ultimate Father and Son home project. This car will snap Colin to the forefront of my conscious memory each time I see it now.

That's a good thing.

Wonderful idea, Jim.
A miraculous car. I have often looked at the pictures.
This fabulous Z preserves so many good recollections of Colin for you all.
It' not only car of the month.

Great idea, and if there was a Z of the year, I would vote for Colin's Z. The heart and soul he put into that Z, and the Father & Son relationship with this Z is ultimately Priceless.

I'm hoping there's a chance to zee this car this weekend when we all visit RI together. It should be the first car in the procession.

Robin?

I agree. Besides the car being a top notch looking 240z, it's what Colin stood for. For alot of us who never got to really know Colin or have never met him, this 240 is everything he represented in our Club. His Spirit is much alive in this 240z. It would be an Honor. Robin?

To Colin's Band of Brothers,

I believe the greatest honor a man can receive is the respect and admiration of his peers. It is very bittersweet to acknowledge, on Colin's behalf, the beauty and detail of the work and effort he invested in his 1970 240Z. He was very, very proud of the results of his work and would accept nothing but perfection. It is, in a very real way, the personification of What Colin was all about. This I feel, is a very fitting tribute. The Z has become to me, as well as many of you, a living tribute to his effort and pursuit of excellence in everything he did.

Thank you all for featuring his Z as the Ride of the Month.

Robin Foote
