Grazie, grazie tanto, Francesco. E tutta il mondo. Como se dice in
Italiano, "Piacere mio."
(Thank you, thank you so very much, Frank. And everybody. As we
say in Italian, "The pleasure is mine.")

Ciao!........Riccardo

wow. just wow. just the idea of the z world suddenly realizing the mysterious #13 is still around is absolutely fascinating. and that it is in my favorite 920 gold color is even better. something I dream of all the time is to just come across an all original early z in this color.. :)

I'm from france, don't own a z yet but I am currently considering buying and possibly importing one from the States (they are so much more rare and expensive over here.). This thread definitely increased my appetite for a 240z.. thanks!

How wonderful to hear another International voice! We have two members (one in Germany and another in Finland) who imported US 240Zs and are having great fun with theirs.

This car, #13, is very special. It has been 8 months since we've "found" it (the owner knew where it was all the time!) and we are still amaZed that it is here with us.

Thank you for your Post here! If you like our Club, please join us? We're free and we only require you love these carz, even if you don't own one.

In fact I'm also a Finn ie. from Finland, but I live in France. I'm definitely joining and also working hard on becoming a Z owner as well! Can't stand much longer seeing people post pictures of their Zs all over the place and not having one myself.. :)

Kingofapes, so there is only one way: buy one, as soon as possible, and have fun with a classic Z. I'm sure the club will assist you finding a good one with fits to your needs.

Thor

BINGO!!!!!! You did pick that up, you sharp sleuth you!!!!!

I have a 2010 calendar already with some 1971 Datsun pix, and
I have one with all Z'z on reserve with Keith, to be picked up in a
couple of weeks. But it's one thing to own a calendar, and quite
another to refer to it occasionally!

I can unrdstnd the mis-count Rick; Time Flies when you're having fun, and these past few months must have been a whirlwind for you, after 30+ years without Z Buddies!

Really glad to have you "back in the Fold", whether you can count or not.
:D

hi Thor! In fact I have a couple of really interesting ones only I'm not sure if I can obtain quotes from shipping companies before the auctions end. you know it's the Easter weekend and nobody works in Europe.. oops this is going way off-topic..

Edit: I mean I have found a couple of interesting ones that are for sale, not that I have them..

Right ~ let's move this part of the discussion to WANTED TO BUY. I'll open a Thread there where we can help you find a nice Z.
Frank

*(OK King, I started a new Thread for your car search. Under MARKET PLACE, find WANTED TO BUY, then "European Friends want American Zs")

Thanks Frank, I'll go and see it right away. sorry about going offtopic.. ;)
oh man, if there was the european equivalent of the lucky13.. it's a shame there's much less info available about the early european Zs, like i've never come across any info what was the earliest vin of a z sold in europe. maybe the problem being that europe is a mess of many countries, languages, habits and preferences.. maybe we should really organize ourselves a little more over here and get a europan z database started..

Here in the States we have a gentleman who began doing that about 20 years ago. His name is Carl Beck (and he's one of our members! :D ) and he runs the Internet Z Car Club (www(dot)ZHome).

*AFTER* you are finished looking at our website, pack a picnic lunch, take your phone off the hook, put a DO NOT DISTURB note on your front door and go look at Carl's website.

WARNING ~ you should NOT venture into Carl's site until you have at least two days to spend, wandering around like Alice in Wonderland, because there is simply TOO MUCH information to learn in there, and once you fall in, you simply can't leave.

(and you can tell him I said so).

Frank
