Found this on Facebook originally but they have regular web presence as well.

Called MassTuning Trackfest it allows you to use your vehicle for actual track training on various tracks around New New England.

Check out each locale and they have videos of the actual tracks.

This link is Palmer Mass just over the line from CT.

 Wow! Where do you find these things?! Good work, Karl.
I have to read the entire details but I already see two track day plans which are advertised as FREE! :D

This will take some study and conversation among us all. Have they ever offered something like this before? Has anyone seen or used this plan already?

More discussion to follow.....

Frank

Great stuff Karl! We should really look into this. I copied one of the YouTube links from the Lime Rock program. This is really a cool vintage video (1957) of sports cars running at LRP. VW's, Triumphs, MGA's, XK120's, Volvo's, Saabs, you name it all racing to the most delightful music soundtracks you will ever hear! Wow!, was the track different back in the day, and so were the cars!

Could not find one Z! :P

I enjoyed that flick so much I watched it 3 times. The camera car was a 1954 Austin Healey 100-4, which I drove during highschool. I had a series of them which I kept blowing up, one after the other. This guy rolled his at the end, which I never did. :D

Track owner John Fitch had recently returned from Europe, where he had been a POW in Germany after being shot down in his P51 Mustang. After the war Fitch stayed in Europe re-generating the post-war race industry in each country. All the other GIs came home as soon as the war ended. Fitch drove for several big-name GP crews after the war, including for Mercedes Benz at the tragic 1955 LeMans race, during which over 200 spectators were killed or maimed in the worst-ever motor racing accident. His team mates included Stirling Moss and Juan Manuel Fangio. Lime Rock Park was built on Fitch's family farm.

Yeah John, those 1957 Datsun Zs are really scarce!

John, love the music, that's what you whistled as you drove around the track.
Photo from Lime Rock 1958, I wuz 13 years old. I took this photo from the passenger seat in Dad's 1958 TR3 on the short chute headed to the left hander. Dad worked for Triumph so I spent a lot of time in TR's.
It was Press Day for the British Auto Manufacturers, so the journalist's got to drive and wreck a few!
I don't remember any music playing or Dad whistling.
Karl, keep us posted.
Colin
