"I ride my bike, I rollerskate, don't drive no car.
Don't go too fast, but I go pretty far.
For somebody who don't drive, I've been all around the world.
Some people say I've done alright for a girl! Oh ..."

Well this may be "off topic" on the "off topic" but I couldn't help but listen to this song by Gordon Lightfoot that I spotted on the YouTube links after listening to "I've got a brand new key". One of my favorites, and an enjoyable video as well. I guess it sorta keeps with the theme.

I don't think there is any way of 'hijacking' of an Off-Topic thread. I think it's sort of an "All Things Considered" forum, without the socialist-left opinions.

Gordon Lightfoot was Canada's best-kept secret for about 10yrs during the '60s and '70s. He was a prolific songwriter for other singers and sang his own songs around Canadian bars for a few drinks. In the mid-'70s he began singing his own songs in the USA and Sundown was one of his better ones; it hit #1 in several countries during 1974. I spent 4 glorious years in Hawaii during the 70s and was deeply into country and folk (Hawaii and Alaska are our western-most states) and Lightfoot was at his peak for those genres. Many folk artists (Bob Dylan, Peter Paul and Mary, etc) owe much of their success to Lightfoot songs.
