Colin and I are planning to attend this event tomorrow, Friday in the early afternoon. The event runs from Friday through Sunday and should be of interest to any age gearhead. Sorry for the short notice!

Hey Frank,
John and I found your daily driver at the show yesterday, first photo. We had a great afternoon at the Kent Toot & Whistle show Friday afternoon. Lots of interesting machinery, John is an old hand at driving steam locomotives, although they wouldn't let him near this one! This event continues through the weekend.

Haha! I love that Jeep. Nobody tailgates him.

I recognize that red-ball governor too. As the speed increases, centrifugal force makes the balls spin outward, which covers two vents, limiting steam flow, thereby decreasing power. It maintains or limits rpm that way.

I had one just like it on my 4-door 1954 Oldsmobile 88 when I was a kid.
