I got a call from Jim Kinsella this morning who informed me that the blue 64 Jag XKE is leaving his shop. A broker was going to come by and pick the car up from the shop this afternoon so Jim, knowing I have lusted over this XKE
, gave me the call to come over and join him on a little "shakedown cruise" before the car was picked up. Soooo, I dashed right over and checked the car over and we took her for a little drive from Beacon Falls to Seymour then back to Jim's shop. What a beautiful example of an XKE! Love those headlight covers, louvered hood and the gorgeous sexy lines no other car can match in my opinion.Here are a couple of shots from today.
