YES!!!
$37,000 for an all-original 260z  Originality counts and this car certainly sets new standards for the 260s in our Club. Each time someone sets a new auction price for any model Z, it effects the value of our individual cars.

Because of the one-year-only USA build of the 260, these are among the very scarcest z cars ever made. Other countries got the 260 longer, while some never got it at all.
The 260 also introduced the 2+2 to the Z lineup, and those are even scarcer than the standard 260 coupe. Because the 2+2 tended to be a family car, they got modified less often than the coupes did, so there is a grand chance that the very last surviving S30 bodied Z car will be a 260 or 280 2+2.

iI'm not familiar with the 260Z air cleaner. Can anyone tell us what those 5 holes along the top of the 'breadbox' are for? Is something missing there?
