I just read this article about a woman's love for her 1964 Ferrari 330 America and figured I'd pass it along.
I still like Frank's car story better. :mrgreen: :thumbs_up:

A tear-jerker, for sure. Now that's a woman who could appreciate a Z.

This happened when I was in Hawaii and had owned my 240 only a couple years. About the same time another woman was buried in her classic Rolls Royce. I thought it was a great idea and I told my girlfriend I wanted to be buried in my Z (but only if I died, please). I wrote out the details and took them to my lawyer to modify my Will. He told me it was illegal in Hawaii to do that, so I would have to wait to die until I was in some other state. My next state was NC, who told me I had to drain the car of every drop of any fluid and be in a coffin which had to fit into the car itself, which meant pulling out most of the interior and resting me sideways btwn the rear shock towers and removing the gear lever and hatch glass. The whole scheme began sounding pretty foolish and I abandoned the idea. Today I like what our friend Bill Moreau did; he had his Z sitting faithfully outside the funeral parlor's main doors, apparently waiting for them to carry Bill past for his final ride.

Two things flashed thru my mind when I read this (especially the part about the concrete sarcophagus); the 1962 horror movie "Premature Burial", and the irony of having oil seep into the grave as they dug it. :wink:
