I've asked several important Z people and got the feeling maybe they were sworn to secrecy. Bob is open and friendly in public but he might not want everyone to know where he moved to. Just my guess. I would hope we zee him again someday (soon).
My final conversation with Bob turned out to be rather clumsy. At last year's picnic I had heard quiet rumors he was moving, so I cornered him and quietly thanked him for all he has done for the Z in America and for his huge participation in the Club, because "I understood he might not be around here much longer".
I think he misunderstood me to mean I thought he would die soon.
He straightened up and made a face and sharply (no pun) told me he planned on being around for a long time to come, then walked away without further explanation. What a final memory. 
Oh well, at least he'll remember me.
