Has anyone heard how Bob and his wife are doing in Florida? How did they make out with the hurricanes?

I've asked several important Z people and got the feeling maybe they were sworn to secrecy. Bob is open and friendly in public but he might not want everyone to know where he moved to. Just my guess. I would hope we zee him again someday (soon).

My final conversation with Bob turned out to be rather clumsy. At last year's picnic I had heard quiet rumors he was moving, so I cornered him and quietly thanked him for all he has done for the Z in America and for his huge participation in the Club, because "I understood he might not be around here much longer".

I think he misunderstood me to mean I thought he would die soon. He straightened up and made a face and sharply (no pun) told me he planned on being around for a long time to come, then walked away without further explanation. What a final memory.

Oh well, at least he'll remember me.

Oh boy.

It's funny how words can sound different in your head than they do when they're spoken. Well I'm sure Bob knows you well enough that by now he probably figured out what your intended meaning was.

Frank- As we get on in age there's only two things you should be concerned about: a decrease in the ability to remember things and... and... uh. Darn. I can't seem to remember the other one. Lol.

Life's too short to worry about how others interpret what comes out of our mouth. Just keep speaking you mind. Your knowledge and thoughts are greatly appreciated. Keep Z pedal to the metal. 8)

Howie
