Well, there isn't much question of it now ~ the plows and salt trucks just rumbled down my road. Looks like my Zeason is officially over. :( I went into the garage and caressed the Z anyway.

You and your Z deserve a little Spa time... a massage, a saddle soap bath, a shampoo and maybe a carnauba wax job. If things turn out well, you can do the same for the car. lol. Stay warm bro.

 Haha!

Well, I tried to move it out of the garage today to access the motorcycle, but the Z refused to start, so my guess is it's officially in hibernation and doesn't want to be disturbed. I usually fire it up a few times each winter just to keep the gaskets wet, so I'll try again later this week.

Tried moving the car to get to the motorcycle? Snow.... motorcycle? I sure hope you have snow tires or those metal ice spikes in the tires if you're planning on winter racing with it. :D

Hey hey hey.....until the spokes fill with snow and put the wheels out of balance, there're few things in life more fun than a bike in the snow. You can broadside the whole length of your road if you want to!

During the winters of 1986-87-88 I rode my 650cc motorcycle to work and home each weekday (22 miles round trip). I designed a fiberglass "egg" to fit over a street bike with a snowmobile track on the rear and adjustable stubby "barrel skis" either side of the front wheel, with the intention of letting die-hard riders use their bikes thru the winter. Didn't have the start-up cash at the time to make it happen, so I rode open all year. Brrrr!

The snow is gradually melting with this mild spell. I managed to sneak in a quick Z ride up 67 and 42 through Beacon Falls and Cheshire before the snow melt puddles started to show up. Fun ride, car ran GREAT!. Can't wait for Spring

Sneaking rides during the winter feels great. :D 8) I've been able to be "sneaky" four times during this winter. Can't wait to remove the T-Tops. :P

A single fleck of Sodium Chloride (road salt) can cling to the underside of your car and just WAIT for any water to activate it. As tempting as it may be, the only way your Z is safe from death by salt-actived rust consumption is if you wait until a hard rain washes the roads and dissolves the salt, then dries. :(

Sodium Chloride (road salt) shouldn't have any affect when wearing latex. I was always taught that I should be prepared for, and protect from things that might do harm. I believe iZ be safe. lol. ZZZooooom!
