Went yesterday with a friend of mine to Palmer Mass at Whiskey Hill to drive a Ferrari 458 Italia on the track there.
Its a very technical track of around 2.3 miles in length with 14 turns and almost 200 ft of elevation change. The training instructor said it is the most technical track they use for these events. Before driving we took a "ride-a-long" in a Mitsubishi Lancer to get the lay of the land. It was to say the least intimidating . . . . . but it helped us to get a feel for the track.

Here is the video that I got from the day . . . .. it's definitely something I would do again.

I would probably choose a more open track that is less technical so I could feel more comfortable going faster.
They got to tracks all over the US.

Your time would have been quicker if they'd let you drive your own familiar Z. Too bad they didn't. And you could have charged THEM $200 for the ride-along, and made up some rule about paying YOU $500 if you ever fell off the track in your own car. 8)
Or something.

Maybe not.

OK, so now we know what we can give our friends for their birthdays (like Paul in RI), or as raffle priZes at the annual Fall Outing. $200 isn't that much and the memories would be worth many times that.
