:? Hmmmm.....

This is a one-sided study. I want to see the stats about all the classic Z owners who drive their beauties for years without any citations, collisions or violations. I haven't had a speeding ticket since the 1980s and I've owned some cars which were capable of "inspired performance". Also, this study doesn't specifically say the owners got tickets for driving these actual cars. They might have been caught speeding in the family's station wagon and then had trouble getting insurance when they bought their Z.

 Really!

When I was a kid my best buddy's uncle owned a Pizza shop on Syracuse University. He drove and delivered piZZa in his 1961 Dodge station wagon, for which he paid a pittance for insurance. Since it was a 'company car' and a stodgy old 4dr family wagon with an automatic transmission, they thought it was a sedate family car.
The truth was much different. The car was one of only a handful of 413 Sonoramic longram Cross-Ram wedge head Super Stock Dodge Ramchargers, with the unbreakable 4spd TorqueFlite autotrans pushbutton gearboxes. He delivered pizza in it all week, then took it to the drag races in Cicero each weekend and filled the back seat with trophies.
He got plenty of speeding tickets with it, too; so many that, when he decided he wanted to buy a very nice new BMW motorcycle in 1965, his insurance quote was so astronomical he couldn't afford the bike.
Perfect case of driving so recklessly in one vehicle, your insurance company doesn't trust you with another one.
