Every week or two I receive a free email update on the inventory of SYMBOLIC MOTORS in LaJolla, California. It's always a great surprise to find them in my IN box. Their sales manager, Bill Noon, highlights one specific car each letter and gives full details about it.

Here's an excellent snapshot of one week's inventory on the SYMBOLIC showroom:

http://symbolicphotos.weebly.com/

Previous weeks' inventories can be explored by clicking on the blue links below the photos, and full photos of each car currently offered can be enjoyed by clicking on the grey links in the left margin.

Symbolic is a high-dollar-only sales shop, so you will not see any low-hanging fruit in their ads. They deal strictly with world-class cars, many of them actual racers. No, I can't afford any of their cars unless I sell the house, but YES, I love to drool over each and every one of them.

If you love to Walter Mitty over your morning coffee, this is the site for you. The background of each vehicle offered is thoroughly investigated and spelled out in detail. Those with special provenance earn larger photo arrays. (Colin the Elder, this site makes me think of you each time I open it).

Symbolic Motors once handled the Mike Parkes Ferrari 275GTB/4 with which I had an adventure in the 1970s and wrote about in these pages some years ago.

I recommend Symbolic for all your shopping needs. 8) If you wish to be added to SYMBOLIC's free email notification when they receive new cars (you really should), simply write Bill Noon and ask him to add you to his mailing list. You don't get spammed or sold; his respect for your privacy is as solid as our Club's is.

Tell Bill you're a CTZCC member. He sends us Christmas e-cards each year.

Dual Quads, GMC 6-71, Chrysler Fire Power, K-Stacks, Slicks on chrome reverse rims...Probably a Halibrand quik-change and a Turbo Hyrdamatic. Love the 'Team Mustard' shirts!

Frank, you are exactly right, you know your hot rod stuff. Probably need some wheely bars.
With every good Hot Dog you need a beer, so not far behind the Big Dog you'll find the Miller Mobile!

'32 Lowboy Roadster or maybe even a pickup!

Dropped front, channeled over the frame, running boards deleted. Baby Moon hubcaps! I'd steal those myself!

I think I would call it a 1930-31 A-Bone, based on the shape of the
radiator shell. BTW is that Irv, with a beard, driving?
