Post subject:  A good deed for our club (are you in)
So if you all remember the 1972 240z that got stolen awhile back and now is found......Thank God. Well I have been in contact, and offered my assistance free of charge. They already got the ignition switch taken care of, but still in need of a door. I am waiting to hear back from his wife to see what side and if anything else she might need. Radio maybe. I found a guy with some doors. So that's a start. The owner is in the army and on deployment right now. Maybe he can come back to some good news. So what do you think? I would like this to be a club effort if all agree. Be a nice thing to do, Tis the season. Help our brother in need. Thanks. :D

OK, it's the Driver's door. The guy I spoke to from CL, said $100, so waiting to see about some pics. She did say radio, but I'm not sure if that was original or not. Either way, not parts I have, I only had an ignition with key. :arrow:

That's the spirit, thanks guys. :D Power in number they say. I think this will make them feel better when the can see how many people are helping out. It's a Datsun thing........the hand wave is for a reason. :wink: So, the donations will help, let me confirm the condition of door and all. Then I'll open up a pay-pal account. I'm sure I have to see the car and assess, but I'm thinking there might be body work involved. Don't know yet. I can put parts on. FRANK, trades work, let me figure what radio they prefer. Not sure if this is original or not.

Judging by the ad it doesn't sound like it was an OEM radio. But no sense in me speculating.

Good work Paul. I don't mind helping out in a case like this...I'd hope someone would do the same for me had I been placed in this unfortunate situation. My Z is more than just my car.
