I have waited silently until after our final official meeting of 2013 to publicly say THANK YOU to our PreZident Jim Hagani and Vice PreZident Uncle Phil Parent for an excellent 2013 Zeason.

It was no mean feat to follow in PreZident Emeritus Ross Williams' footsteps, and Jim had a steep path ahead of him when he stepped up to assume command early this year. It worked out wonderfully for us, altho I thought I saw a single grey hair on Jim's temple at the final meeting this week. The transition appeared seamless and wrinkle-free from out here in the Peanut Gallery. And who'd have thunk that the usually-silent Jim Hagani was actually such an effective public speaker?

I think the smartest thing Jim might have done all year was creating new officer positions to help him out, and then appointing the best among us to those positions. A salute to all you guys who formed the TEAM which made 2013 such a successful Z year ~ for free! Thank You!

I again submit that the combined efforts of our officers bring into focus the tremendous job Ross Williams did, single-handedly, for the first years after the CTZCC was formed. I remain amaZed at his individual accomplishments in the formation of this great Club.

Well done, all; thanks. We had a grand year due to your efforts. PleaZe keep up the good work!

Frank T

You know what they say: still waters run deep!

Jim has done a great job this season (and the Winter before in planning meetings) and it is wonderful to see the club continue under his leadership.

Thank you, guys. I appreciate the kind words, but it really has been a team effort (as it should be) this year. I am very fortunate to have a group of active and committed officers and directors (including our former president) working with me to make the transition from the Ross Williams Era as smooth as possible.

I'm looking forward to next year where I hope we can build upon what we were able to do this year.

- Jim
