Probably one of the rarest Ferraris of the modern "Super Car" era is the 288 GTO Evoluzione... Just five were completed. None were ever intended to be released to the public but eventually Ferrari relented when they were finished with the program... Each example built was carefully placed with a selected favored Factory client. The last one sold, went to the Sultan of Brunei and remains with him even today.

Our particular example is the first of the three test and development cars built in 1988 and a prototype of the F40 and F40LMs that would soon follow.
