My favorite was a 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport that I owned in the early 80's. This was a one-model year styling and finding another is on my bucket-list.

I think those are the correct wheels Frank. If i remember correctly I've seen them on other Torinos on eBay. In any case, that's how I bought it!

I'm curious to know if the young lady was your wife to be Ross?

I believe my father had a 72 Torino also Ross, gold in color with a brown vinyl roof!

Nope, just one of the many young girls that were desperately in love with me during my youth.

Pfft! She just loved your car. 8)
She probably would have dated Starsky or Hutch, too.

I too had a 928 .... it was a 91 GT 5 spd. Really enjoyed that car. Put about
90K on it before I sold it. Funny, I was missing the 928 when a friend sent me a picture of the roadzter. Brought back memories of my original 240 and what I might have done to it if I'd kept it. Took me a whole summer to pry the roadzter from it's owner. Carol's '66 GTO conv. was another fav.

Hey Jack, that's a nice looking 928. :D Our car looked like identicle twins. I always thought mine was just an S4, but the guy I sold it to said it was a GT. He said having a 5-speed and LSD made it a GT. I would have thought it would have GT badging though. Did yours?

That's porsche ......... they did not have GT badging anywhere. The 5spd and LSD were distinguishing features. Aslo the HP was up over the S4 ...
326 vs 316. Mine was lightly modified and put out about 365
Jack (I miss it)
