I have figured out why Reverend needs triple Webers on his 240Z in Finland.

Being buried under 6 feet of snow for 5 months of the year can have some serious emotional effects on anybody. You can get Cabin Fever after only 3 weeks in the house, and insanity soon follows.

When the snow melts and the roads clear in Spring, there are certain impulses which must be met. No, I'm not talking about Spring Fever ~ I'm talking about DRIVING again!

Here's a quick clip of how Finns celebrate Spring. My Suomi isn't up to reading what this video says, but from what I can gather, this is NOT an organized race or rallye ~ these are just Finn teenagers on their way to school in the morning!

And these are probably those same teenagers' Moms, hurrying to get downtown for Christmas shopping before the snow melted.

Sometimes the roads need attention during the winter, but they have to wait until Spring to be repaired......

Of course, I could be completely wrong about all of this.........?

After watching only 10 minutes of this, I start to imagine what Finn junkyards must look like!

Please don't watch the 4 minutes btwn 16:00 and 20:00, which is all classic cars!!! 18:20 almost made me cry.

When things get boring and nobody wrecks for a few minutes, the crowd can generate some fun by shining a 1,000,000 candle-power spotlight into the driver's eyes as they come around the corner in the dark!! (27:10)

It would make more sense to me to drive a bit slower and at least finish the race!

By the way, in second video there is Datsun 1000 or Bluebird at the beginning. Thats a deep ditch they keep driving lol

Yea we crash a lot and drive like maniacs (in rally, not in traffic), but as the saying goes here, it separates the grain from the husk :P
