Anytime we think we have nice days on American beaches, we should stop and consider how wonderful things are in Finland. Here's just a small example of how beautiful the beaches are near Helsinki. August, 2010:

That's the way they come roiling in, down in TX. One minute it's
beautiful sunshine, five minutes later it's so dark you would think
it's midnight, even at 2 or 3PM in the afternoon. And beating down
rain, so hard you can't see beyond the hood of your car, even if it
was light out. Just like a monsoon, but it doesn't last 3 months.

So whenever you are fixing to head into one, or if one is heading
toward you, just find you a nice safe place to get way off the roadway,
then set there for awhile till it passes through. I should tell y'all about
an experience I had about 1990 on I-10 between Baton Rouge and
Houston. Near Beaumont, I believe. Had to throw those BVD's out...

In recent years we have been getting more of these Uber-thunders. Maybe its the global warming or something that makes it happen. I live by the sea, usually thunder comes from there, but in this vid it came from inland.

Feel free to research H.A.A.R.P.

It's a "secret" project in Alaska which is playing with the Ionosphere for no good reason, without adult supervision. It sounds to me like a bunch of community college kids funded by Air Force money, experimenting with Mother Nature to see what breaks.

http://www.haarp.alaska.edu/

Seriously, their website says their mission is to stretch and release the Ionosphere and create instruments to measure what happens when they do.

They have already caused a hole in the ionosphere, several severe unusual storms over foreign countries and a enough local earthquakes to make Alaska step in and tell them to quiet down.

I wouldn't be at all surpriZed if this storm was the result of one of their idiotic experiments. :x

Actually there is HAARP "lookalike" in Sweden too. Also in Russia. They might be testing something weird.

Speaking of strange phenomenas.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxA0Asq2 ... re=related

There is still no reasonable explanation for this spiral. There is some speculations but few are worth the effort.
