That covers Saturday mornings rather well.
How about Saturday evenings? Elvis Presley's first tv appearance. It was not Ed Sullilvan. Sullivan may have had apperance #6!

Jon Provost was 2nd generation. Tommy Rettig (Jeff I think) was the original.
Amazing how television has changed over the generations. We had heros without massive tattoos, tight pants and wild personal activities. Things were very simple then. Give a boy a pocket knife, send him into the woods and you would not see him until dinner time when he was called or someone whistled or rang the cow bell. A gang was a group of close friends.
