Well, some of this appears....possible. Here's one of the guys mentioned, and he's in that general field, altho his resume doesn't mention synthetic fuel research:

http://www.isis.stfc.ac.uk/People/steph ... n5778.html

The rest of it sounds unconvincingly hokey. TheNewsBomb, for example, is a part-time amateur satire of actual world news. Why would Bennington chose THEM to release the most important world news of this century? And the references to Oxford appear to be simple name-dropping, in an attempt to lend credence and prestige to the story.

I say "show me". When this guy insures himself with Lloyd's of London and hires a mercenary army to protect him from assassination by the PetroChemical barons, I'll be willing to listen to more. When he actually sells me a tankful of 'synthetic fuel' which has the same (or better) storage and performance qualities of gasoline but at 1/3 the price, I'll get back to you. If it sounds too good to be true......

But thanks for the entertainment!

Frank

Hope this is not a hoax. That probably changes nothing here, if fuel prices comes screaming down, goverment evens it up with massive taxation  BUT i sincerely hope this is true. I could drive my Z 10 times more with same amount of cash
