So here you are, bombing down the passing lane in your Z, overtaking traffic and Enjoying the Ride.

John Taddonio WARNED you not to take your classic Z out in winter, but you just couldn't resist one quick blast down the highway.

Everything is going fine, then suddenly.....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-ghL3Gm ... =topvideos

Rust is not the ONLY threat to your Z during winter driving!

Good piece of driving!! You have to wonder why he has a mounted camera running while driving down the highway though.

The fact that the driver in car in front of him hit the brakes as the truck approached proves that driver is not an NASCAR driver!

It said, "courtesy David Ritchie." Could be Ritchie is a cop or something?

I was more impressed by the driver of the 18-wheeler with the white
trailer in the center lane who, in an instant, had to react to the truck
vaulting toward him; assess his clearance in front of the white van
already in the far right lane; and then quickly swerve into the far right
lane to avoid the contact. I will tell you firsthand that even with a lot
of experience, it is still not the easiest thing to judge when all 53 feet
of your trailer have gotten by the car you have passed!

I would say, however, that it appears that the guy in the white van hit
the brakes to help the semi driver make sure he could dart in safely.

The dialogue in that movie was great.

Man: *Bleep*
Wife: Are you okay?
Man: YES. Holy *bleeeeeeeeeeeeeep*

The way he said "Yes," it was almost like a cross between "angry," "scared" and, "&^#&!, woman, not now!"

Roger that!
That's why you always carry a spare roll of toilet paper in your glovebox.
(It's actually something I learned in Viet Nam. When you are getting
shot at, mortared at, artilleried at, etc., it comes in handy.)

Remind me never to explore Rick's glove box.
