Well, tonight was the Winter Equinox (shortest day, 1st day of winter), a full moon and a total lunar eclipse.

Because those events are so rare, I stayed up until 0245 to zee them.

It was totally overcast, and I saw nothing but a rabbit in my yard.

I'm going to bed. :?

I waz lucky enuff to see most of it;just az the last lil sliver was about to vanish, heavy clouds moved in. Still pretty cool tho... And now the daze are getting longer!!

Well, the last time this all happened together was about 620 yrs ago. Now I have to wait another 84 yrs (2094) to see it again.

The rabbit will probably be dead by then.

I stayed up too Frank. It snowed here and the closet thing I saw to the moon was a street light through the snow. I was disappointed too. :x

Yep I checked. It's a street light. We got indoor plumbing too! :lol:
We lost our Starbucks , but maybe one of you guys will open a Dunkin Donuts out my way!
