Survival Systems Inc. Watch the intro. YouTube - Aircraft Ditching Training we did it 10 times...had a blast. But long day, and was tired, didn't make it to work last night...but ohh well. |

We used a military version of that (much smaller), plus a single-seat Dumper which slid nose-first down a rail and inverted when it hit the water (forcing water up your nose each time). Conditions were ideal ~ warm, clear pool water instead of freezing, opaque salt water. I hate watching that 46 crash like that. |

the 46 crash survivor had his back broken in 6 places...so swimming up to the surface was pure luck. It was a good vid to watch. |

Yeah, I watched it last year. The lesson should be, "Never try to fly away with a warship attached to your helicopter". |
