I'm not sure why I laugh so hard each time I watch this, but something about it just tears me up!

Is it really that funny, or should i seek professional help?

Frank, I love that one too. Let's try that one at home. I have a trampoline in my backyard (seriously). If you and Chris supply the bears, and club members bring their poison darts, sounds like a great club event.

Phil could photograph the fun!

It should be the only Club function we allowed alcohol at!

Should do wonders for our national reputation. I can see the headlines now.

Oh, I thought you meant that the CLUB MEMBERS should be the ones
soaring down from up in the tree!

We don't even need tranquilizer darts, we could make a CONTEST out of
it! Bet nobody could rebound up to roof-peak height like the bear did!

Well, on second thought, maybe we WOULD need tranquilizer darts to
keep from laughing ourselves to death.

The piece that didn't get captured on film is what I am wondering about:
it looks like the bear landed awkwardly on his/her head. Did the bear
suffer a broken neck, resulting in that prone position being permanent?
ANY CLUMSY FOOL COULD DO THAT, ESPECIALLY ME!!!!!!!

They should have used a pro stunt bear for the landing.
I'm curious how they thought up the idea that the trampoline would work. Any kid who ever broke an arm falling off the trampoline could've told them that the bear was going to hit the ground.

And you notice the total absence of Spotters around the trampoline? I guess nobody wanted to spot a bouncing 450lb black bear

If they had used a professional Stunt Bear, they would have had to pay him! (Unions, you know?). I'm fairly sure PETA will get involved in this, somehow.

I still laugh every time I watch this. I guess I'm just "politically incorrect".

You need some time away from the computer Frank. Yea, that's sick humor, and bad aim on the trampoline. Looney Tune special.

 Hahaha!

Sir, "Jarhead" is one word, spelled without a hyphen, and always capitaliZed (since it is a proper noun). It is also spoken with both feet flat on the deck, shoulders back, chest out, head raised, and uttered from the diaphragm, proudly.

Very few can earn the title of Jarhead. That bear is an impostor. He fails to meet the prescribed grooming standards of a real Jarhead.

OooRah!

I just had to come back here and see this again.
And again.
And again.

I'm sorry. Go ahead, call them. Send them to take me away. I don't care. This is simply hilarious.

PS ~ the next day's followup newscast said this bear was fine as soon as the happy juice wore off, and he was released back into the wild. Nothing broke.
