Now if I had gobs and gobs of money I would still own a 240z…or three. :lol: But I would also seriously be considering these two of my favorites, which have just hit the block:

You'd probably have better luck finding the Mclaren than a genuine 2000GT.
:lol:

That being said, a few people have converted 240z's into near perfect clones of the 2000GT.

Yea, another one of my favorite, besides the ferrari 250GT. The 2000gt was rated one of the most sexiest cars. Now you can't tell me Datsun didn't copy someone. :roll: O well, at least I can afford a Datsun. One of my other favorite cars, since we're on the subject, is the Bricklin.

I would love to get one of those GT2000s up on a lift and examine how they managed those spare tire compartments ahead of the doors.

I've seen exactly ONE of these cars in my lifetime, back in the 60s when it was actively registered and being used (by a girl) as a daily sporter.

James Bond used one in one of his movies, too, which is more than we can say for our Z cars.

I've never seen a McLaren from this angle before ~ only from the back.
