:D First off, I finally received my CTZCC calender and was very exciting to see me in there, thanks for thinking of me, really appreciate it, made my year..................then, more excitingly, by the good ol Z force of good will, I found my 240 TITLE  :D :D yesterday while cleaning my Z mess. :D I thought I'd never find it and have to go through a bunch of paper work. I was so excited I almost peed my pants, it couldn't of happened at a better time, this is the year, I mean this is the freakin year, I'm so excited. To have her on the road for the big 40 means alot to me. So now I'll be out workin hard, have 2 Z's to get ready for sure and then the Z31, for some know my deal, 3 Z cars at the 3rd CTZCC. (and plan to have all 3 driven there) :D My final plans for this year, if others think it's worth doing is to start a Rhode Island Z car club, or more less an association that is still part of CTZCC, more less a gathering of Rhode Islanders that have Z cars. Just Z enthusiast, that's all you have be. Don't worry we won't take over, shoot half the world don't even know we're a state. There are even cities bigger than this state. RIZE (R.I. Z enthusist) or RIZC (R.I Z Club) or RIZA (R.I. Z association) Some ideas to think of. Other goals this year are to complete my Z parts organization process, have a clean garage to work in, and continue learning as much as I can about Z cars and there history. Some of the thanks allready go to some of our club members, thanks. :D This club ROCKS :!: :D Z 4 EVER (ummmmmmm, I have to think of a vanity plate now, :? )

Spring I can't wait. :D but to avoid cabin fever I've been out in the cold working on Z stuff. Tiny Tim now needs a clutch :( I knew I was to ruff on it. Going Centerforce 2, and do it right the first time. So now the coin is tossed........Do I run out of what clutch is left that does at least get me around....or get a Z car on the road. :?

I think mine has been on jack stands for about 5 years now..........yea I can't wait. :D The whole time it's been just doing small things, gathering some missing parts, (thanks, Frank, A.J., & Jim F. and the junk yards,) and keep her running time to time. So I'm starting the exhaust, and once done with that, I think some small things like u-joints in main shaft, repack bearings, or new, and tune up and new tires. Basically that should be it, (even though it never ends.) I'm sure I'll find something minor here and there, especially if it's made with rubber. end of March???? That's the goal. I already ordered my clutch, need the truck anyways, and did get the Center-force 2, if I'm going to be hauling Z's around, or what ever. The 83t will be put back together as well, but will have to hold of on the paint job until summer. 240 is getting all the attention now. :D

Hey Paul, Happy New Year! (I think this is the first time)

Fortunately I still have most if not all of the old CT 240Z Club archives.
You could see if these folks are still Z Nuts (sorry John), they sure were
back in the day. I tried White Pages.com and this is what I got:

Roy Burnette, 110 Sedgefield Rd, N Kingstown RI 02882, (401)295-5847
Had a beautiful white 73, #128364. Tech director, avid autocrosser.

Robert K (Bob) Iriye, 14 Roy Ave, Middletown RI 02842, (401)859-2581
Wicked silver 71, #22021. Avid autocrosser and technical whiz.

LaVal (Val) Cote', 50 Jackson Schoolhouse Rd, Pascoag RI 02859,
(401)710-9554. Silver 70, #07814. One of original & founding mbrs.

Sandra (Sandy) Stringer, 13 Ware Rd, Dayville CT 06241 (860)779-7965
Orange 71, #31266.

Charles X (Chuck) Karpinski III, 621 Merrow Rd, Coventry CT 06238,
(860)742-6393. Orange 72, #64776.

Fredric (Rick) Mack, 12 Wood St., Middletown RI 02842, (401)846-0846
Green 71, #31128. Technician and frequent autocrosser.

Assuming that I chose the correct people from the listings (some of them
have the same add/tel to this day, some have moved and I gave it my
best shot). These are the members now living in the RI area who were
among the most active and interested. I omitted names of other people
who were members but you never saw them anywhere.

Whether the RIZE flies or not, the above might still be interested in the
CTZCC; remember the qualification for membership isn't OWNERSHIP,
but INTEREST in Z Cars, which makes them still eligible even if they
have disposed of their Z cars sometime in the past however many years.

Well John, I do love driving my 280zxt, especially with t-tops off on a long ride, but wow, you guys look like you really enjoy driving the 240z, so I think that should be my primary choice, especially this year. I can only imagine summer 40 years ago, when spring broke and people got to drive there 240 for that first time. (talkin about the snow region of course.) I can only think back to 1985 when I got my first car, 72 240z, rust bucket only last so long, and that was my only 240z experience. many s130 later, I finally got my first car back, in spirit that is, my first has been soda cans a few times over by now. :? So I'm more excited than some can imagine right now, but I think this should be the grand tour for the old girl this year. So I have May to get ready for sure, for the East Nationals, then ZCCR show. the Nationals in Tennessee, CTZCC 3rd show, and the Fall outing. I'll know for sure as I continue getting her road ready, but I'll have the 83t for back up. How can you live with just one Z I don't know. :? :D  Rick, would it be awkward for me to call, or should you? I see 2 guys are right here in Middletown, and one across the bridges In Kingston.

Hey Scotty,
I see in your signature block that is an orange Z, I presume color code
#918?-- The first 3 times I saw the pic I never even noticed because it
had looked to me more like #110 persimmon.............

Yeah, hi again, Paul:

I wasn't trying to throw a load on you, just offering a few guys in your
area who once were interested enough in Zs to be active in a Club, and
who might once again if you happened to stir up some action in RI. I
wouldn't mind one bit to make the calls. If I hit it right I would renew
some old friendships, and if I happened to choose the wrong entry from
the National white pages, well, I've been cussed out before!

That white Z is STUNNING (with all capital letters)! It looks whiter than
the #904 Kilimanjaro White that came on the early Zs; maybe like that
"Refrigerator White" as I call it, that I see on the Priuses and others?
BTW are those not black pinstripes I see running along the contour lines?

I think you already named your vanity plate in your post without even
realizing it: MYZROX

I think it's Chevy white, the whitest paint I believe you can get. That's how I got it. how about "Z-ROCKS" That way I can speak for everyone. :D I talked to Fredric, and his Z has gone to Z heaven do to serious rust. He said Robert Iriey still has his and is modifing it, but his # is out of service or changed.
