In Vancouver today, Germany set a world record speed for the 2-man bobsled, breaking 93mph  !!!

It made me proud to know we have a member there, who also enjoys going fast!! :D

And our two Canadian members must be very proud to host the Olympics, and to see the Maple Leaf take another Gold medal today, too!

Also would be glad about a german gold medal in ice hockey. Condition is: all other nations have to be disqualified....

I was yelling at the German Fraulien in the Women's Biathelon! I admired her shooting skill and sat on the edge of my seat, cheering her onward as she beat her beautiful heart out skiing up the hills ahead of Russia and France!

Thrilling! I wanted to run there and push her from behind!

This year is such a wonderful Olympics. We have seen many records broken and many heroes fall. We now have two new members from Canada and they must be very proud to host such a wonderful event in their country again, after so many years.

Also, they must be very happy about the TONS of money this Olympics is bringing to Whistler and Vancouver. I have visited both places in my Z during the summer about 30 years ago, and they remain among my happiest memories.

They will probably never be the same after this!

Yeah, I watched. The final 5 minutes were amaZing.

The outcome wasn't much to my liking, tho.

The Canadians sounded very, very happy. They sure earned that victory, and I'm proud we made them work so hard to win it.
