And the web site, www.datsun-france.com . Was perusing the English Z site and clicked on this from one of the french members, go to it and click on photos, tons of sad pics of Z cars meeting their fate of wasting away, found these pics to share, neat lttle hatchback datsun, a 120A, looks like it would be a fun little car to sport around in..... Check out the site..

Wow ~ I am totally unfamiliar with that car. I'm on my way to that site to check out what else they have.

Aww, it's written in Frog. I can't navigate thru there to find the old Z cars.

I hope Carl and Thor find this site tho ~ I saw some rallye cars like Carl's and Thor might be able to find some parts there.

From the quarter panels forward, especially the rear quarter windows,
it looks like the F-10 coupe (actually KPLF-10). The hatch looks more
like a B-210 hatchback, and I'm still trying to assess the rear aspect
(no pun intended), which once again may be similar to the F-10. Except
for the taillights being round instead of hexagonal.

BTW the F-10, a front-wheel-drive, also came in a very nice little station
wagon. All of the above were mid-70's only. Also the F-10s had the
same A-14 engine as the B-210, only mounted transversely for the
front wheel drive setup. I could never understand why the coupe had a
5-speed while the wagon only had a 4-speed.
FWIW, ~Rick~

P.S. Frank, I can help a little, I could understand "NISMO days."

Frank, click on the link in my earlier post, go to the site, where it says, "Photos", I think that's a semi-universal word for pics, click on that which brings you to photo categories you will see a ratty looking Z car missing a fender and lyimg on the ground, click on that pic and you will see a S-load of forlorn Datsun pics, God you old jarheads need everything explained to you, come on, i'm half Polish and even I could navigate it.....

Oooooooo ~ that was a sad and painful experience. I saw two 1970 cars, both LHD, but couldn't write anything in the comments to ask for the VINs.

I was surpriZed to zee that many of these photos were taken here in the States, including one of a rocky hillside backyard full of Zs which might be Danny's Datsuns out west.

Remarkable how mother earth seems to have reached up and slowly closed her arms around these cars, as if trying to hold them.

Some of these photos were good enough and interesting enough that Phil might have taken them himself.

Yeah, I thought I recognized that California clutch of Z's also... It's amazing the number of Z cars that are just rotting away around the world and also that there are still so many oldies surviving and getting revived/refurbished etc to carry on doing what they were designed to do, bring pleasure to the Z world......
