I couldn't resist, found this up by Springfield. 1985, don't see these to often. Did good on the hi way back, only slight vibration in drive train, and soon will need to replace engine, for worn rod bearings. Got spare engine with it and would like to improve it. Otherwise runs good, everything works, interior is flawless for its age. I replaced the original seats with 82 leather zx seats, bolted right in, and replaced the steering wheel with a nice leather wrapped 280 Z wheel. I have to have that Z feeling all the way. :D It has some rust on the frame but still solid and not bad for it's age. I'm 3rd owner, It's been repainted, but taken care of. I bought it for a truck, the 4x4 and the gas saving engine for I'll drive this in the winter, also will use this for when we go tent camping. It could use new shocks all the way around, but very comfortable to drive considering. So far in my search for more power, and keep the 4 cyl., I have to find a 240sx head, (18 valve), the manifold for a 4 barrel carb, and some headers, and I'll be good.

Does it have a tow hitch?

Yea, but at the moment it might rip the bumper off. That's one of the sore spots. I'll either find a better bumper, or weld up my own that will look rugged, but be stronger. Plus, I wouldn't tow until I get a stronger engine in there. Why? you need someone to tow your Z to the next show :?:

Post subject:  New truck updated imrovements.

New rod bearings are now installed. :D No more engine noise. :D This is why I love Nissan. Having a steel crank is a plus, all the bearings were down to the copper, and the crank journles were smoth as silk, so I had that first start up knock, and the knock at about 4,000 rps. The job went well, cleaned and painted everything I remove, (diffy, oil pan, crossmeber, and right front axle,) and now a nice orange splash pan to match the front grill outlines. 8) I also now have a truck cap, found that on the side of the road for free, windows on all 4 sides. :D Also removed the bumper and now fabricating a rear bumper out some very heavy gage steel. I'll feel sorry for anyone that rear ends me. Of course I'll probably get wip lash. :( Should be all set next week to take it on it's maiden voyage to N.Y. to visit family. Then back in 2 weeks with the Z, for the Rochester show. :D
