My friend, Nick, e-mailed me today with some samples of his latest work. I just thought I'd share with the forum, since I thought the shots came out excellent! He's also a former Z owner, and has much respect for the legacy of the Z! The IS-F in the pictures is his current vehicle. I'm pretty sure, judging by the pictures, that he has a soft spot for the Audi R8. What do you think? ;)

His website: www.motion-studios.net

Enjoy!

Nick offered to come out to one of our meets and do a photo shoot of any cars from CTZCC in attendance as a free contribution to the club. If there's any interest in a group shoot, let me know, and I will contact him to set it up.

WOW!

You tell Nick for me he is an outstanding photographer! He really knows what to do with light, half-tones and shadows (and he knows beautiful women!) It also appears he has some nice photo-toys to play with.

One of my not-so-secret dreams is to shoot a special photo of all our Z cars together. We have enough Z cars in this Club to PROBABLY fill a slot for every model of every year Z car ever made. The earliest 240Z ever made (car#6) belongs to a member of this Club, as does the first 240Z ever sold to the public (car #16). On the new end, we have Bob Sharp's new GT-R and Os' new 370-Z. In between them, we have nearly 300 other Z cars of every year and description, including RHD Fairladys, convertibles, G-noses, Black Pearls, Anniversary Editions, 2+2s, S30s, Z31s, Z32s, a GT-33, 350Zs, etc etc.

I can picture an overhead shot of all these cars, arranged in order of date, in the form of a giant "Z". Earliest carz at the top, newest carz at the bottom.

No other Club has ever done this, and due to the size of our state, we might be the only Club who can.

Dreams!

Frank

Just say the word and between you, myself, and Nick, we can make it happen!

Awesome idea, Frank.

He took the pictures of my Z! http://forums.ctzcc.com/viewtopic.php?t=3814

And if you look at his website (address in the original post), then click under "The Image Collection", then "Automobiles", and you will find some pics of his previous car, a Silverstone 350Z. Those were some of his early photos, so they probably aren't as good as these are.
