moving slower than I thought, but the car should get on the ground in the morning... 8)

new drive train...done.
new suspension...done.
new brakes....done.
fresh wheels and tires...done.

Just got to wrap the other half of the header , bolt it on, bolt on the carbs, get a new battery, install the MSD, fill the radiator, install the roll bar, and swap out the seats. and cross my fingers...

But due to the meet, that fun will have to wait til next week.

We've seen much of this new stuff laying around AJ's garage, neatly packed and waiting for installation. I can just imagine how cool it must be to have them all assembled onto one package.

The wheels and exhaust catch my eye for now! I can only imagine those triple Webers howling thru those big-bore dual exhaust pipes!

Way to go, Clay ~ Good on Ya, Mate! You'll have lots of curious wrenchers hanging all over this car during this weekend's BBQ.

Frank

*(BTW, Clay ~ this Thread is up to 1,250 hits as of today! That by far surpasses any other thread ~ and many threads combined ~ for the MOST READ THREAD on this Website's history. Not only have you broken all the records, you continue to set new ones each day!)

AJ,

Don't believe we've met but having done a fair amount of resto/refresh work on our 70', we can appreciate what you've done and offer our congratulations on the exciting restoration/upgrade to your Z.

Like you, we're itching to get back on the road.

Well done and ENJOY!

Robin & Colin Foote
